Summer Camp

During the summer...

...Camp Fowler is at its best! We offer a variety of week-long sessions for different age groups, ranging from 3rd grade through 12th grade. Each week provides a different twist on a classic summer camp experience. Campers can choose from our two different programs: Residential Camp and Wilderness Camp. If you're ready to register for camp now, click the button below. If you want to read more about programs and dates, follow either of the "learn more" tabs.

residential camp

Camp Fowler does summer camp as it should be: campfires, stargazing, log cabins, swimming, hiking, canoeing, sailing, boondoggles, singing and so much more. We believe the most important thing to do at summer camp is to spend time with good people outside in God's great world of wonders, so that's what we do. During our residential camp weeks, campers stay on our 245 acre campus located in Speculator, NY. Each day is filled with a wide variety of activities, both on and off camp property.  We have daily times of worship and learning with our guest chaplains. Campers also have daily free time. Each night, campers stay in newly renovated cabins with 5-9 cabinmates, supervised by one of our adult counselors. We're convinced that this is the best way to do camp, but come see for yourself.

wilderness camp

Camp Fowler Wilderness Trips are for everyone: for returning campers and first timers, for expert outdoors people and for those who have never spent the night in a tent, for musicians, artists, athletes, and wanderers. They are a wonderful alternative to our more traditional residential camps. Wilderness trips are led by two of Fowler’s certified Wilderness Guides who take small groups of 4-10 campers on week long backpacking and paddling excursions into the back-country. Campers spend the first night of the trip on Fowler property, before heading out into the back-country for the following four nights, sleeping in tents and lean tos. So lace up your hiking boots, grab your sleeping bag, and take only what you need, because the wilderness awaits. You’re an out-camper now!
