During the summer, Camp Fowler is at its best. Kids can choose to come to camp for one (or more) week of camp. These weeks are geared towards specific age groups falling within the range of children who have completed the 3rd grade to those who have completed the 12th grade.
Fowler offers two types of summer programming:
Incamp:
During an "incamp" week, campers stay on our 245 acre campus located in Speculator, NY. Campers participate in our daily programming which includes things such as sailing, hiking, arts and crafts, canoeing, and more. During the night, campers stay in cabins of typically 5 - 9 children who are supervised by an adult.

Outcamp:
An"outcamp" week is radically different from an incamp week. Campers spend the majority of their time out in the Adirondack wilderness hiking, kayaking, canoeing, or fishing. Staff are competent in wilderness education, survival skills, and first-aid. Campers learn things such as how to light a camp-stove, canoe strokes, or the native flora and fauna. Nights are spent camping in lean-tos or tents. Group size varies from 4 to 8 campers.

For 8 years now Fowler has partnered with churches throughout upstate to provide a camp experience for kids, many of whom wouldn't be able to come to camp.
For 2012, our Day Camp sites are:
First Church Albany
Syracuse Reformed Church
Lisha's Kill Reformed Church
Brighton Reformed Church
Bellevue Reformed Church
We are working on establishing links to each of these sites so that you can find out more information, learn how to register your child, and help by volunteering or contributing to the site.
