Yak and Pak... or Pak and Yak!!

Yak and Pak

9th-12th grade July 18-24

This week is a classic. It involves working together, facing challenges, the joy of meeting up with the other Fowler group 1/2 way into the journey and the transition from one mode of transportation to another. Both groups will start and end the week together, but you will spend your "wilderness" time with your small squad of 6-7 fellow campers. We will put you and your "cabin mate" in the same group so that you can talk about this experience for years to come.

Sunday:   The first order of business is registration. Please be on time as we have

much to do today. We’ll be teaming up with the other wilderness group for our pre-trip preparations. This will include:

  • personal gear shakedown and repacking,
  • food
  • and camp gear distribution.

We’ll spend some time getting to know one-another and doing some team-building exercises.  Tonight we’ll stay at Fowler’s wilderness area.
