Spiritual Retreat:  Encouraging the Nurture of a Listening Heart


These retreats will combine a personal renewal process with times for silence and community in the beauty of the Fowler landscape. 

This retreat invites entry into a deeper place of holy listening for God.  Together we will explore ways to nurture our desire for prayer using a variety of contemplative prayer practices woven into a gracious rhythm of silence and sound, stillness and movement .  An opportunity for individual Spiritual Direction will be provided.

The retreat will be held in the Chi Rho House at Fowler Camp & Retreat Center, Speculator, New York.  Arrival  at 4:00 pm (dinner at 5:00 pm) on Tuesday and ending with lunch on Thursday.  There will be quiet, personal time to reflect on stirrings of the soul.  Individual Spiritual Direction will be offered by a team of Spiritual Directors.
