"A Spiritual Retreat: Discovering Your Spiritual Pathway"

September 30-October 2, 2008

Cost: $50.00 per person, includes meals, lodging, and programs.

This retreat is being sponsored by the Office of Ministry , Reformed Church in America

This retreat, led by Ella Campbell, will guide participants in discovering their preferred spiritual pathways and invite them to stretch spiritually. Ella will be using a resource by John Ortberg and Ruth Haley Barton, “An Ordinary Day with Jesus: Experiencing the Reality of God in Your Everyday Life”.Here’s some of what she will be sharing:

• Just as we have different personalities and temperaments, we each gravitate toward unique ways to connect with God and refresh ourselves spiritually. One of the greatest benefits of knowing our spiritual temperament is the ability to build on that strength without feeling guilty for our weakness. This awareness provides opportunity to be strengthened in areas that help us keep in balance.
Ella Campbell is an RCA certified Christian Educator, a graduate of the Shalem Institute’s Spiritual Guidance program, and a spiritual director living in upstate New York. The retreat will be held in the Chi Rho House at Fowler.

Arrival at 4:00 pm (dinner at 5:00 pm) on Tuesday, September 30th and ending with lunch on Thursday, October 2nd.
