Summer Camps

Inside Suits

Suits Hall

The first building that went up early in 1954 was Suits Hall. Named after Mabel Suits: the mother-in-law to Lewis M. Fowler, this has all the charm and warmth of a camp dining hall.

Kissing

Overlooking the campers as they dine each day is Bullwinkle our camp moose. From his vantage point he's seen numerous bowls of oatmeal devoured, countless silly songs sung, too many camp announcements and more than a few times been kissed by campers who may have received three letters during the week.

With its knotty pine walls and incredible views of Sacandaga Lake, Suits is camp incarnate.

As we look forward to building a new dining hall (where we can all fit! Camp has gotten bigger since 1954) we look to transforming Suits Hall into Suits Nature and Arts Center: complete with a rustic, wrap around porch so that every camper will still enjoy the camp experience that only Suits Hall can provide.
