Lakeside Lodge

Lakeside

One of our favorite haunts at Fowler is Lakeside Lodge. As its name implies it sits on the very shores of Sacandaga Lake. The ninety year old log cabin has seen her share of campers and retreaters who have sat on her spacious porch or swung in one of her porch swings and said silent prayers of thanks for the beauty and wonder that still exists in this world.

Inside, Lakeside is being transformed back into what it historically was when Anthony B. Farell first built his Great Camp on the shores of the Sacandaga: a game and family room. Spread a puzzle out on the large log table, play cards on our incredible octagonal golden birch table, or sit in one of the rustic couches to share tales with a good friend.

Your time at Fowler won't be complete until you too have come to Lakeside and marveled at one of the Adirondacks' true gems.
