Paths and Paddles
7th-9th grade August 8-14
Sometimes it's just too hard to decide what you like to do more: canoeing or backpacking. Or, perhaps, you've never done either and want to see what you might like. Because Fowler supplies all the wilderness gear (except sleeping bag and hiking boots) for our campers, this is an inexpensive way to see what kind of out tripping you like. We think you will come back liking both "the most!"
Both groups will start and end the week together, but you will spend your "wilderness" time with your small squad of 6-7 fellow campers. We will put you and your "cabin mate" in the same group so that you can talk about this experience for years to come.
Sunday: The first order of business is registration. Please be on time as we have much to do today. We’ll be teaming up with the other wilderness group for our pre-trip preparations. This will include:
We’ll spend some time getting to know one-another and doing some team-building exercises. Tonight we’ll stay at Fowler’s wilderness area.
