7-9th grade August 1-7

 

Sunday:   The first order of business is registration. Please be on time as we have much to do today. We’ll be teaming up with the other wilderness group for our pre-trip preparations. This will include:

  • personal gear shakedown and repacking, 
  • food 
  • and camp gear distribution.  

We’ll spend some time getting to know one-another and doing some team-building exercises.  Tonight we’ll stay at Fowler’s wilderness area.

 

Monday – Put in at Duck Bay stay over at Fowler new lean-tos


Tuesday – Paddle across Sacandaga, carry into Fawn Lake, stay at Fawn Lake


Wednesday – Leave boats at far campsite on Fawn, bushwack to Vly Lake (Fowler folks paddle boats up Fall Stream to Vly for us to use for the rest of the trip.)


Thursday – Paddle down Fall Stream into Piseco Lake, through Piseco Outlet to Big Bay campsite


Friday – Take out at far side of Big Bay
