The Nature Activities

Fowler's nature program strives to do two things:

-the first is to get campers outdoors, in the woods or bog; on the water or looking at the sky! Whatever we can in order to make their imaginations come alive and to help them discover (or rediscover) the mystery and beauty that surrounds us. Learning about trees and how they grow or what plants provide for a tasty treat or what animals might just call this part of the earth "home."

-the second focus is in helping our campers understand their role as caregivers to this world of wonders. We have gardens and solar panels and compost piles and green spaces. We're helping a new generation take on the role of stewards of God's world: hopefully building on our learnings and correcting mistakes from those who have come before them.
