Summer Camps

Horizons Week

7th-9th grade

This week brings you camp in a slightly different way. We get going right away in the morning with our activities and go throughout the day. Arts, hiking, games, sailing: you name it! Then, after dinner, we have "discovery time" where we reflect more on where we saw God present throughout the day. Each day ends, then, in a campfire; often on the beach

On Tuesday night, weather permitting, we will be out for a couple more hours doing "NIGHT PROGRAMING." This is a great time to explore Fowler in an entirely new way. Night hikes, sensory awareness activities, and star watching all make this a great and unforgettable evening. Wednesday morning becomes a "RIP VAN WINKLE" sleep in. We catch up with the schedule later in the day.

10:00 Lights-Out/Devotionals

Friday night we have a light snack and then worship and then...THE PIZZA PARTY!

AFTER THAT, campers go back to their cabin areas for campfires and songs. What a great way to wrap up a great week.

Camp ends on Saturday morning after morning watch, a great breakfast, and a fare-well group hug and blessing. Parents are asked to be to camp by 10:00AM in order to pick up their child. The store will be open and families are encouraged to roam around and hear the stories of what happened during this amazing and special week
